Lorelei Williams, a member of the Skatin and Sts’ailes First Nations is the founder of Butterflies in Spirit, an interpretive dance group that raises awareness about Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG). She is also a leading voice in the movement behind MMIWG, including the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and the Oppal Inquiry. Lorelei also volunteers for the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Collation and works full-time as the women’s coordinator at the Vancouver Aboriginal Community Policing Center.
